Generation Homes completes model in Beach Haven

PALM COAST, Fla. (April 17, 2013) – Generation Homes continues to set the standard for Oceanside neighborhood living with a beautiful model home at Beach Haven in Northeast Flagler County, just eight miles south of St. Augustine.

The personal builders at Generation Homes have created an airy new home design that truly enhances peaceful beach living. The Tortuga II maximizes stunning views, capitalizes on open flex space and built-in storage all presenting a fresh take on master suites and much more to fit the lifestyle of today’s homebuyer.

“We are very pleased to be building in Beach Haven. Our construction processes, floor plans and ability to work closely with homebuyers to meet their custom needs fits well with the makeup of this Old Florida beach cottage community,” said Cora Johnston, president of Generation Homes.

Classic beach colors such as aqua, ocean, and sky, are paired with bright white walls and interesting shapes to give The Tortuga II a dose of casual sophistication.

The furnished model features three bedrooms and three baths in 1,894 square feet of bungalow living space. The living room, dining room and kitchen reflect open beach cottage design with wood floors in the kitchen, dining, family room, and master bedroom.

Beadboard on the ceiling augments the living area’s contour and definition. Beadboard reinforces a crisp look while colors bounce the natural light found throughout the home.

The guest wing contains two expansive bedrooms. The master suite is roomy with a large walk in closet. The master bath has a striking custom vanity, walk in shower and bathtub.

A welcoming front porch is highlighted by “Starfish” shutters on the windows. A two car garage in in the rear of the home offers easy access through the laundry room.

Homes in Beach Haven feature Generation Homes’ energy-efficient Shades of Green® program that allows homebuyers to choose the level of green built into their home. The goal is to save homeowners money on their monthly utility bills by engineered construction such as the open cell spray foam insulation under the roof of the Tortuga II.

Other homes are planned for Beach Haven. The location presents an ideal setting for all that beachside living can be.

The walk along the private boardwalk to the beach soothes, relaxes, and discloses that “real life” occasionally needs escaping with a spectacular sunrise or the unmistakable sounds of the ocean.

The coastal ingredients that make Beach Haven special are as diverse as they are exceptional. A wide sandy beach at low tide is optimum for swimming and surfing, building that sand castle of a lifetime or collecting shells along the Atlantic seashore.

High tide at Beach Haven reflects serenity, harmony, freedom and meditation. Serious beachcombing, watching dolphins and whales, Yoga on the rocks or simply working on a tan. Great for playing or unwinding with family and friends.

In addition to the beach the neighborhood features an outdoor pavilion, resort-style pool, lake with a walking bridge, along with a trail system, providing an assortment of leisure activities.

Recently featured in the 2013 Flagler/Palm Coast Homebuilders Association Parade of Homes, the Tortuga II is located at 26 Sandy Beach Way in Beach Haven on A1A in Palm Coast just south of historic Marineland.

Take Interstate 95 to Exit 289. Go east on Palm Coast Parkway, towards the beach, continue over Hammock Dunes bridge toll road approximately three miles. Turn left on Camino del Mar Parkway. Turn right on A1A continue 5.6 miles. Turn left on Beach Haven Parkway.
